Campus Community School old fashion holiday sing along

Campus Community School holiday sing along celebrates the seasonOn Friday, December 19th, parents and children alike were toe tapping, hand clapping, and singing aloud to an “old fashion” holiday sing along.

The holiday program was presented by Music Director David Czepukaitis during lunch time at all grade levels.  Each of the four lunch periods presented a different group of students singing traditional holiday favorites.

The entire school community participated in the decoration of our Cougar Café with a fireplace, snowmen, snow flakes and other festive handmade items.

Holiday season wishes from Principal Leroy Travers

Holiday Elf Campus Community Principal Leroy TraversThis week at Campus Community School ended on Friday with Principal Leroy Travers attending the lunch time holiday sing along dressed something like an Elf on the Shelf from the Island of Misfit Toys.

Principal Travers, as show in the photo, is actually wearing a tutu as a payoff for a bet.

According to Mr. Travers, "The Cougars Reaching Out club approached me and asked if I would wear a tutu if the school raised 500 pounds of canned food for needy families in the area. They thought the little guys would like to see that. The school raised over 600 pounds."

Mr. Travers sends along his wishes for the winter break, "On behalf of Campus Community teachers and staff members, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. We look forward to an extremely successful 2015."
