Campus Community School Summer Reading

Summer ReadingCampus Community School encourages students to become life-long leaners by asking them to continue reading throughout the summer.

Campus Community School  believes that students should read all kinds of books: books that entice them to read, books that help them become more proficient readers, books for pleasure, books to provoke thought, books that challenge them.

Field trip to Killen's Pond on June 4th for grades 6 and 7

Field trip to Killen's Pond on June 4th for grades 6 and 7The end of the year is fast approaching. As a middle school we wanted to reward our students for all their hard work throughout the year with an end of the year Jamboree and BBQ on June 4th from 8:30 – 2:45pm.

Students will spend their last day together as 6th and 7th graders playing games, hanging out, and most of all making memories. We will provide a BBQ style lunch filled with hamburgers, hotdogs, summer salads, and all the fixings.

The cost of the trip will be $5.00 to cover the cost of the buses and food.  If you would like to donate anything for our fun filled day at Killens Pond State Park please let me know by the 29th of May.
As we will also be having some water fun during the day, so the style of dress will be summer fun appropriate: no spaghetti straps, short shorts, string bikinis, see thru shirts, etc. Students should follow the general dress code policies for tag day as well as dressing for the weather and activities. We will not be attending the water park, so no bathing suits should be worn.
