Campus Community School Japanese Exchange Program information night
There will be an information night about the Japanese exchange program on Monday, March 30th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm for anyone interested in going to Japan for two and half weeks at the end of June.
Any Campus Community middle school student (grades 6,7, or 8) and their families can attend the meeting.
Campus Community School Japanese Exchange Program with Iwanuma City in Japan, has been in place for 15 years. Each
year, students who are interested in participating in the Japanese Exchange Program start meeting in September once a week for the duration of the year learning about the language, culture, and geography of Japan.
The cost of the trip for each student is $3,500.00 dollars. The funds are for airline tickets, train and hotel accommodations in Japan. We will be staying with host families for 8 days and exploring other parts of Japan including Tokyo, Sendai and Mount Fiji.
Students who participate in this program complete an application, have recommendations from teachers and must participate in Japanese exchange program activities.
The Japan club, advised by Mrs. Boland since 2003, meets every Thursday after school to learn about Japanese culture and the language,
Students do not need to be a member of the Japan Club to be considered for the trip to Japan.
If you have any questions please contact the adviser Mrs. Boland: firstname.lastname@example.org
