About CCS

Campus Community is a 1-12 Charter School that opened in 1998 (Grades 1-8) and expanded through the high school years in 2002.  CCS classrooms are based in social constructivist teaching and learning.  In our classrooms you will find a low student to teacher ratio, project based assignments, and a focus on social responsibility.   As our teachers develop standards based curriculum their focus if on higher order thinking and cross curriculuar integration.

After June of 2012 CCS will reconfigure to a K-8 due to a loss of our free facility on Wesley College's campus.  Our high school will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.  We are so proud of all that our high school students have contributed to our community and in their lives after high school.  Thank you to all who made the accomplishments of our high school a possibility! 

In June 2012 our elementary/middle school will expand to include Kindergarten and move to our high school location at 350 Pear Street.  An open house for prospective families will be held on January 25th at 6:30.  The Pear street building will also be open for touring 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after the presentation for those interested in seeing classroom and shared spaces.
